Scope
Progressive Services specific package of works included the installation of all building structural steel, precast panels, roof cladding, mono cranes for pump stations located at Broken Hill, Silver City and Wentworth. Further to the pump station activities, Progressive Services also provided support with regards to mechanical equipment installation.

Diamantina Power Station – Mount Isa QLD
Principal Contractor – KBR/KSK
Initial contract involved a rigging crew of 8 for piping installation. This was extended by 18 months with an increased work allocation employing 30 riggers and crane operators. Further work allocations were for all scaffolding requiring a crew of 45 plus incline piping and external cladding.

With an onsite team of 30 riggers and 15 mechanical fitters Progressive was involved in constructing pipe racks and installations, steel erection and mechanical rigging. On completion of the contract the team was held over by Apache to assist with the commissioning of the project.
